YES!!! and with Action Force too!!!
I remember my mate Joe Stevens showing me that for the first time and then proceeded to melt 3 or 4 figures straight away.

It was all Jamie Olivers fault - encouraging us all to be market gardeners, with his chirpy ways And my brother, of course, for getting me involved in pulling all of the apples off the tree too, rather than just let the wasps eat them, as usually happens at the KevD residence. Needless to say I will start the 2009 batch of Chutney at a more sociable hour.
Although I am considering trying my hand at Cyder this time around...

I once lost a perfectly good tent after we decided to see what happened when we put the empty cylinder from the gas burner into the dying embers of the fire...lucky that was all I lost really!
Disclaimer:- obviously any children (or big kids for that matter) reading this should be advised that blowing stuff up, be it camping equipment or otherwise is neither big, nor clever, and certainly not (too) funny.
Or to put it another way:-
Or gas cannisters that have run out.

How we all made it into our 30's is beyond me!
I did come close to not making it when I fell off a rope swing. The only problem was the rope swing went out over what can best be described as "a small cliff".
Broke my arm in three places, and, according to impartial observers, was very lucky my neck didn't follow suit! Ah, happy days!

I blew the top of my right thumb off when I was 16 with a .22 rifle. I worked on a farm but we were in one of their fields literally nowhere, my thumb was over the barrel as put the rifle down and it kicked going straight into the bone. sprayed my face with blood, my mate thought it had gone through my head.
My thumb was shooting blood like out of a comedy sketch, in days before every kid has a mobile phone, I then wrapped my t-shirt around my hand and rode my bike 4 miles to the nearest doctor, all the time thinking my parents would never find out. Got to Docs, passed out, when I came round they said i needed to go to Casualty, to which I asked if they would send an ambulance, to whcih they replied, no call your parents DOH!!!
My Dad wasn't too bad, but my Mother freaked as she worked at the school I just left and never knew I owned a rifle. I had to have the slug removed from my bone and have physio, which was embarrising as people were learning to walk again etc and I'm there learning to bend my thumb again.
I was really lucky, if I hadn't had my thumb over the end, it would have gone into my head or eye. Looking back though, I think it's amazing I managed to ride so far before passing out, but the fear of my parents finding out kept me going

I got taken to hospital with a suspected broken nose after falling off my My Little Pony lunchbox right onto one of those metal grid footscraper things. That's about as hardcore as I get.

we used to make penny bangers by scoring caps and wrapping them around a coin.
i then decided to stuff a kinder egg with caps and a little vial of petrol, i even made a fuse with a piece of string some glue and some ground up match heads. lit the thing and it literally blew up in my hand and covered my arm with petrol so of course i did what you're supposed to do which was to scream like a jessie and run around like a maniac fueling the flames. luckily a mate managed to rip my jacket off before any real damage was done. my hand was pretty badly burnt but i couldnt let on to my parents or i would have been in serious trouble.

man that's funny, reminds me of what happened to a schoolmate.
I used to run for the school team, along with my mate Matt, he turned up for practice one day with his head covered in bandages, the silly sod emptied the gun powder out of a shotgun cartridge from his dad's gun on to a piece of paper, lit all 4 corners and sat over it to see which corner got to the gunpowder first.
His face was covered in flash burns and he had no eyebrows left. I could not stop laughing and am even laughing now typing this.
looking through, last few posts have all involved guns or explosive devices of some kind, I promise we're not all nutters down this way
