Very cool..in fact I think I may prefer the German enemy badge more than the :enemy: logo!

Despite the re-design it still looks vaguely like a Nazi or SS badge of some kind...

Wow, this is looking great. Since Germany is my neighbouring country (15 minute drive), i liked the translations of the names. :-) Although it sounds similar to Dutch, i cant help but laughing. Same thing with dubbed German movies. Hilarious!

I also find it weird that foreign carded versions of Firefly have, as the figures name, Muton. Anybody got any idea if it might mean something like "assassin" in any other language?
Found this:
French (beetle, fly, mutton, ram, sheep, stool pigeon, tup).

I noticed the spelling is different, but i think it is pronounced the same way. And perhaps it explaines...

Only saw them on BFTB today, never on real paper.
The information on the 3 German items states:
"Little is known about the german publications, or if there are any others to collect."
Is this all the information available? I have some German friends, and i could ask them to search... if i had little more info. Like, do you know in what form they were published? In what year? Under what main title? etc...

The first two I have in paper form. The last one, which is a collection of three centre-spreads, were provided by jonesy who states that they were printed in Lasso #631, 632 and 633.

If you wouldn't mind asking around I's really appreciate it! I suspect we are missing the Z Force episode.

Just made a reply in the topic of Jonesy.
Can you tell me more about the two paper issues you have? What kind of comic was it? Was is some kind of booklet delivered with the toys?

I did find this on a website:
“The first thing to know is that the "Battle Action Force" comic series that told the stories of Action Force in the UK were never released in West Germany.”

I have sent the owner an email...

Ah, that's Clemens Scholl, he used to be a member here so I expect he would have said something. Sorry, I bought mine off ebay a few years ago, I don't know much about them. I can tell you they are pocket-sized issues so most likely were promos.
