Crimson Rages colours match up well with John Burns original colours , i'm impressed and kind of envious lol as he seems to work very fast and get decent results,(Operation Sealion is also very good colourwise) Once I've completed Black Major hope theres still some stories left to colour lol :skip:

Yeah, he's churning them out! Is John Burns definitely the original colourist?

That's very kind of you to say, but I must confess that it's pure serendipity that my stuff (sort of) matches the official coloured pages. I just did my own thing and hoped for the best!

As for me hogging all the stories :), I don't think that's a problem yet. I'm just about to hit the halfway mark on DESERT STRIKE (page 50), which leaves me just over 50 to go. That'll be keeping me busy for quite a while!!

It's a brilliantly structured story and I completely forgot how cool it was, but at 110 pages it's a bleedin' monster!!! All that sand *sob*.... Though I'm colouring the Swiss Alps at the moment, so that's a nice change!

As far as I know Yeah John Burns is the colourist..not the Nikolai Dante ,Modesty Blaise John Burns but his Nephew as I asked him at a convention a few years back ,.. whether he did all the colouring I'm not sure but I did read it a few years back in a Battle Stations letters page that he was responsible for the colouring..in the BAF comics at least also when Transformers comics came out the Will Simpson Dinobot and Constructicon stories I recognised his style of colouring from his Battle work .
Desert Strikes an epic ..50 pages already that's an acheivement I've done 25 odd pages of the Black Major now I'm aiming for March or April for completion but man thats fast lol :jammer:
