Glad you can see a difference.
Despite the problems I've stayed with Lycos. Their paid operation is seperate from their free one (which in all honesty was brilliant in terms of features, but let down by reliability and those awful ads), and the comments I've heard about it are generally good.
The other attractions were that they did php, as I really didn't want to have to split the site over two hosts, the space is about right (100MB) and the monthly bandwidth (5GB) is more than enough for the site (we currently run at about 1 GB a month).
Finally it was a damn good price and included the rather cool, and far easier, domain name.
The old site is back up now, it won't be updated in future, and the menus have all been changed to point to the new site. In that way any pages indexed on Google will still work.
