I'm the same, I can't believe there's only 2 issues left to go.

Do you think Storm Shadow's costume looks a bit weird?

Yeah, you're right it does look very like the reloaded costume, thinking about it; the original costume would have to made out if spandex which would not look very pleasing to the eye!!! Although I would have liked the white and grey hooded version.

Hallo to thous who don't know me.

GI Joe movie, about time. I really hope though that a lot of thought has gone into it. I hope they don't just kill of characters and the character they end up using have something more to do than just point guns and shoot them. I know it's hard to give characters development in a two hour film,

Things i like so far.

1. They have had the characters from different parts of the world and not just the USA. ( kinda like action force was )

2. Happy with the cast so far and the GI Joe characters they have picked to be in it.

Thing that are not so good

! Snake eyes uniform, just looks to computer generated on the promo shot.

I like the casting of Sienna Miller as the Baroness, I always thought the Baroness should be a stuck-up English upper class b*tch and not Russian (or whatever accent the cartoon tried to sound like) or Austrian like the BAF comics.

Most of the costumes look a bit too Batman/X-men for me, damn I want Duke to look like an American Paratrooper not a superhero. It works for Snake Eyes (and maybe to a lesser extent Scarlett) but not for Duke and Ripcord.

Bonus points for having Cover Girl as Scandinavian, very Action Force.

Also I like the idea that Duke and Baroness were an item, I always thought Duke was a "girl in every town" type like John Wayne in some of his movies

Apparently it's not going to be a war film where they just shoot at each other, they're definitly going for the comic book science fiction edge

i gotta admit the Baroness looks just like she did back in BAF during the mid-eighties,but for me the stories that were published in BAF are far better than those published by Marvel. They just seemed more realistic, and could easily be transferred to todays world.

Hey there, S.A.S.Sparrowhawk, welcome to the forum!

I'm always reluctant to comment on movie promos, they very rarely capture the character that makes it onto the screen. The thing that made the BAF Baroness for me was the way she jutted her chin out - if the actress doesn't capture that then for me it won't wash, but I'm happy to wait and see. Vanyo always did her better than Cooper IMO.

Not so sure about Ray Park's outfit being CGI musculature, wasn't he vaunted as being some kick-ass does-his-own-stunts ninja type when he got the part as Darth Maul? Only other thing I've seen him do was Toad in X-Men, which also required a fair amount of gymnasticery. I suspect he'll rock.
