Something not to forget to mention if attendees are worried about transport - the TFL buses within the Heathrow perimeter are FREE. No Oyster Card or cash needed. The bus numbers that serve between the Heathrow Central Bus Station and the hotel are 111, 285 and 140. If you ask the driver for the Radisson Blu Edwardian they will drop you very close by.

Roll Out Roll Call, The UK Transformers, G.I. Joe & Action Force Show Custom Competition,
The Trans-Scan Project.

Powerglide and Soundwave join Starscream, Shockwave, Jetfire & Hound as characters who have in recent years seen non-transforming releases using existing Hasbro G.I. Joe products repainted to resemble their vehicle modes.

In addition, The Transformers Collectors Club produced Afterburner with Marissa Faireborn too.
Although non-transforming these crossovers have brought the two brands together introduced a universal scale via the common 4" action figure.

There are plenty of other G.I. Joe vehicles that when redecorated potentially could represent other well known Transformers characters, from MOBAT as Warpath, to Snowcat as, well, Snowcat.

The Trans-Scan Project is the 2016 Roll Out Roll Call custom competition which allows entrants to continue the idea of Transformers character crossovers into the G.I. Joe scale

The competition is divided into two categories.
Standard Entry
Standard Entry is a straight repaint of a Hasbro G.I. Joe product as a Transformers character.
No modifications or changes, just a straight repaint of the original G.I. Joe product, eg. Skystriker as Skywarp.

Modded Entry.
A Modded Entry is using one or more base Hasbro G.I. Joe products re-modelled/ converted as a Transformer character.
This allows the entrant to 'add' extra details to the base vehicle to help resemble the intended Transformer character as little or as close to as they see fit, i.e. Cobra Maggot as Onslaught.

Rules For Entry.
Entry is open to anyone, however if you are not attending Roll Out Roll Call you are responsible for the delivery and shipping return of any entry.
An entrant can enter once per category. There are 1st, 2nd and 3rd placings for each category.
Standard Entry must be a Hasbro G.I. Joe product.
Modded Entry must contain at least one identifiable Hasbro G.I. Joe product.
The representing Transformer character can be from any toyline, movie, cartoon or comic series.
Entries are submitted by the owners own risk.
Judging for each category will take place on Sunday 10th of July 2016.

Good luck and lets see some more awesome customs :)

Join in with the Roll Out Roll Call, The UK Transformers, G.I. Joe & Action Force Show Cosplay contest on Saturday 9th of July.

Entries will be judged at the end of Saturday during the Cosplay Contest Panel on the show schedule.
The rules are simple.
* You must be an attendee at the convention in order to enter.
* Enter as any Transformer, G.I. Joe or an Action Force character.
* Your entry must be in good taste. This is a family event.
* Please do not bring any entries that have won in past convention contests. (Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry deemed unsuitable for a family audience or that has been entered in past contests.)
* Contest will be judged by a jury.
* There are 1st, 2nd & 3rd winning places.

Entries will be judged by our - ahem - expert panel and prizes for first, second and third places will be awarded, along with any notable mentions.

Good luck and let's see those awesome entries :)
