What happened with the big Star Wars recard scandle?

Unmarked replica re-cards, Jon. It upset the puritans, but, there are quite a few rivet counters amongst that lot that can spot em a mile off.

Contablankstarwars is a con merchant, the replica stuff is bad enoungh but he often tries to pas his own stuff off as original but thankfully its pretty crude so easily avoidable. ToyToni and Mark Poon though are another case entirely.

I have some of Costa's replica capes, they seem OK for what they are and he doesn't sell them for much at all. Easier than trying to find a decent real one. I also bought a poontrooper. $10 for two, they are obviously fakes when put against the real deal. Toytoni I don't know. IMO it all comes down to if they are deliberately trying to deceive.

As fer Jabba the Sluts sarlac pit, if she's such a slut why will no one admit going all Boba Fett and falling in?

I agree I hope these are easy enough to tell from originals, I dont want to be stung in a few years with these replicas.
