I like that the photos are out of focus, it adds to that boozy atmosphere.

I've still got spirit gum in my hair. I think we should go back to calling it "fancy dress" rather than "cosplay". Cosplay sounds like students in striped tights who read odd comics written entirely in kanji, whereas FANCY DRESS sounds like a bloody good day out. It's FANCY.

Here here. When did everything suddenly become bloody Cosplay instead of fancy dress?

Yay! Dates announced (11&12 October) - and I'm fully decided on my costume - I'll be going as V1 Lifeline, much more comfy than last year's Dr Mindbender outfit!

Is it a He Man show too, if so would a She-Ra costume be too far?

I made the mistake (if you can call it that) of googling She-Ra cosplay and boom 3 hours are just lost. The research and referencing will take a long time.

OK
Finally, after many years of not being able to go through one reason or another, I'm going to pencil this one in the diary.
I will finally get to meet some of the inmates of this asylum in the flesh... and that is terrifying!

So, from what I have read of previous RORC, I am to expect the following at the weekend:
Calm reflection on the nature of being a collector.
Sobriety and gentle joshing.
A scholarly discussion of the nature and being of variants in Series 1

Goody, I look forward to all of the above.
