One thing Ive noticed in a discussion with Ironblood, is that the Minesweeper accessories seem to be recoloured versions GI Joe Tripwires (except the back pack). Yo Joe says that Tripwire was released in four different waves between 1983-2001 http://www.yojoe.com/action/83/tripwire.shtml so they might be available fairly cheaply to have the accessories swiped.
