Oh forgot to say mate if you want to paint any parts in that very dark grey that
vehicles have then I found that Tamiya's Nato black is an exact match.

Re: Shadowtrak Mk 2 plus crew
Hi all- thank you very very much for the comments on me
glad you liked 'em!
As much as I love the Red Shadows they are such b$%tards to paint- I hate painting them! Red is such an ar5e colour to do! Soooooo many coats of paint!
On the subject of paint- many thanks for the heads up on the Tamiya NATO black humby- much appreciated! I'll have to remember that one!
The Red Vulture / Shadowtrak was a bit of an experiment- it's been many years since I did custom vehicles and figures that are not in keeping with the 'classic' looks.
I try to keep my latest customs faithful to the original figures - just give them a bit of an overhaul and a couple of tweaks- and I never intended to go down the custom route again in terms of new vehicles and new uniform designs- but when I saw how good the Warthog was in red I just got carried away- and
was a natural step in completing the model- I just had to make him stand out against the 'regular'
Glad you liked the SW muzzle flashes and I think they add a certain something to the figures-
Y'know all my stuff is easy to make- Hasbro could knock this stuff out- with the exception of a couple of things this is all Hasbro stuff- the Shadow figures are from Indiana Jones and we all saw that they have the Shadow head sculpts -from the Convention figures a year or so back. I'm sure there is a market both here and abroad for them to do at least another convention figure or two? Anyhoo- rant over- one of the reasons I did my customs in the first place is 'cos Hasbro never did!
Eddie- no need to apologise chap!
I've got a Classic
custom on the go and then it's time to finish me Mamba men- God knows how long they will take me but they will surface here soon
thanks again chaps - nice to be back and thanks for the welcome!
cheers all

Didn't see this till now. I really like it. I would like to know how you modified that launcher onto it. The one thing I hated about the orginal Warthog was those two big missiles. I really like what you did. Can you share what parts you used?
