Blood for the Baron!

I got Tracker, Breaker, Eagle and Skip. Possibly Chopper and Z trooper too, but they may have been a school yard trade. Jes, I remember ripping that plastic open and near wetting myself. We'd had none of the BAF giveaways before then, and to have figures was like, well, awesomeness on a scale beyond scales. And that smell..... fwoor, it was better than any Sheila's perfume.

Wasn't Baron Ironblood given away with the comic too? Or was that with the mini comics in Eagle / Battle?

Now you mention it, that may have been one I got then too. Same as Chop and the Trooper, I can't be 100% certain. I do remember the mini comic as well.

I'm sure I got some space force dudes in that give away.

I've got a MISB Eagle Comic with the Black Major.

Back in the day, my brother and I got and from Eagle and Tiger as BAF was sold out.

In recent years I found an Eagle comic with the figure still sealed in the bag which now has a new home with the previous poster.

I bought an eagle on ebay with free red shadow figure in the bag and it seems to be a german version. No wear but no skull insignia. 15 euro for it. Not bad. Oh and i bought the three comics to get the freebies.

As for mail away i got skeleton and the commander and the kraken for the insignia i seem to remember. Have a box and paperwork for a mail away skeletron somewhere. gotta find it

There was definitely SAS Squad leader, SAS Frogman, and almost 100% certain SAS Commando which in my case was a European variant.
My mum bought a pile of comics that day! These were my first fgures, although I had a few figures at that time.

SATT, Hopper? I have an SATT Commando, can't remember where from. There were a couple of kids at school that got some from UK visits etc, I traded Joe's for them.

I know I got a Commando as a comic freebie, and as he was the only one that I didn't open out of the packet - and I would have noticed had the packet been foreign or there had been anything different about it - it stands to reason that the freebie was SATT.
Interesting that Redrage got a Euro Red Shadow - perhaps they were pulling the figures from all over to supply the comics.
He was the only SATT I had - sold him on ebay a few years ago.

I did get a Kraken mailaway, a Skeletron, and a Z Force Commander. Still have the accompanying letters squirrelled away upstairs.
