As if the American market still supports GI Joe? Why you think DTC is being dumped at bottom prices? This is a pretty clear sign they are about to pull the plug. I doubt Hasbro will do any GI Joe launch in Europe.

The last few years every single effort done by Hasbro to revive GI Joe did not succeed. We have gotten shitloads of repaints, new molds, old molds combined with new, DTC, Sigma6, etc. No consistency whatsoever. As a marketeer I have the strong opinion Hasbro did a really bad job. From 2002 and on Hasbro really f*cked up the brand GI Joe by having experiment after experiment.

GI Joe had its peak in the eighties. The eighties was the time for action figures. These days call for other toys for kids. A handfull of crazy collectors are not enough to keep the legacy alive.

youve seen the new stuff that is coming out in July right? that is why they are getting rid of everything.

response by retailers has been huge here in the US and the stuff isnt out already and they have already extened the line to to retailers demand

we will have to see a year from now but the reason for the sale is because of ALL OF THE NEW STUFF (sculpts and style ) coming out very very soon
