Not very likely, in my opinion. The Baron wrote:Could he not have been in Z Force before he joined GI Joe?

Yeah OK, it's still crying out for a story though, like the "What's In A Name" tale of Swoop and Divebomb from Transformers. In the UK TF Comic they gave Swoop an origin, where he was originally called Divebomb, and then by coincidence Hasbro released the Predacons set containing the Divebomb toy. TFUK retconned the origin into a grudge match where Divebomb stole Swoop's name, paving the way for the rematch.
Such a shame the DDP board went down just as I made this thread. Are they never coming back then? Does anybody know why it closed down?

ya thats for sure but all the staff and the posters have gone over to joereloaded.com which is the comics military advisors site too
the DDP wont be coming back anytime soon, as to why?
well its all conjecture but what I think is, wall the positve talk was on the DDP boards and so much of the talk on other boards were just people bitching and complaining so I think what they wanted was to spread out all the good talk /buzz about the comic on the other joe boards, to get the positive talk the book has been receiving for the last 8 months out there

Re: Is Wilder Vaughn the Black Major? <SPOILERS>
To add more fuel to this theory of Wilder Vaghn being the Black Major check out GI JOE AMERICAS ELITE #34 and this post
http://www.bloodforthebaron.com/phpBB2/ ... 511#p11511
there are many many similarities and now with his most recent appearance I would actually be shocked if he wasnt
Both are British
Both went into the RED SHADOWS as the enemy
Both are leading
Ya he really really needs to be the Black Major
what does everyone say?

Re: Is Wilder Vaughn the Black Major? <SPOILERS>
Wilder does look more like the major now but I do remembering reading the idea was he was based on the Baron in appearance unfortuneatly GI Joe finishes at issue 36 by DDP so this will never be sorted out as far as I know.
Spock, where the hell's the power you promised?

ya thats the real bad thing about DDP losing the license, the RED SHADOWS are unlikely to return with IDW. too bad as there was sooo much potentiall there that was lost.Ironblood wrote:Wilder does look more like the major now but I do remembering reading the idea was he was based on the Baron in appearance unfortuneatly GI Joe finishes at issue 36 by DDP so this will never be sorted out as far as I know.
