My 100% "sure it had black guns as it was sealed" was the window version.

My window boxed had a red canon & black antenna.

Zilch. There were no 'leftovers' issues with early 1983 releases. That came in the 1985 transition and the closure of the factory.

Would you believe that 2 of the guns I have are different shades of red? The one on my AF3 is the same shade as the seats etc, but only one of the shadtrak ones is even close to the AF5's. The other is a brighter plastic.
