Probably wrote part of this pre-crash, think it was a thread Meertoh started in which case it almost certainly disappeared into the digital void, Xmas 83 was :

So, finally all had some wheels ... and a few more targets. Bought an MMS in the January sales. WIN.

Possibly the series 1 base too but can never remember if that was Jan 84 or 85, 10 quid at Woolworths as clearance, that I can remember, all for what an ignorant family member described as "a bit of cardboard".

Regardless, Xmas was epic. AND IT SNOWED in December and January. So there was plenty of hillside off piste sledging action.

And here we are 30 years later, still hoping for toys, and still hoping for snow for a bit of sledging fun!
