I think it's because in the UK the weather is SO changeable. The cold winter then the random days of heat aren't good for plastics, the hottest it's been up there is 35 and the lowest about 5. Makes sense to keep this stuff in a room at a regulated temperature. The Kraken Wakes wrote:Brilliant thank you, thats a great help.
Why would the attic particularly cause any return, would it be the heat up there? All my collection is in the attic but its a "proper" room of the house but it does get quite hot in the summer.

Re: Yellowing
Thanks again for your help, flagg tower has been in for about 7 hours and i think i can see some change, that might be me being hopeful though.
Any idea how long this stuff will be good for? Have another batch of flagg bits to do.
Hands are now f*cked after using fairy power spray, oven cleaner and the peroxide for cleaning / depainting loads of stuff today.

This thread is absolutely fantastic/ Thanks for sharing guys.
I've heard about the use of peroxide in various threads both here and elsewhere, but this has really nailed it. Great details and examples guys.
Thanks

I think the best example was Steve bleaching his hair!Shaunyboy wrote:This thread is absolutely fantastic/ Thanks for sharing guys.

When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?
