Roll Out Roll Call Dress Code
Re: Roll Out Roll Call Dress Code
Is the helmet a US M1? Are they difficult to get hold of?
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Paint it red. They have a few in the local surplus stores, not that that will help you lot.

Let me tell you, Gunner La-De-Dah Graham, the British Army can fight anything! Intimate or not!

Re: Roll Out Roll Call Dress Code
Paul,
a real helmet is very hard to find because so many people take the ones they find at yardsales/bootscales and clean them up and redo them to give the look of war. so to fine one that has not been tampered with is quite hard. here is a typical helmet i see.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/WWII-Medic-4-Pa ... 3a7b8cbf22
Read the discription and you will see what i mean.
i want one with the smell of battle and a well worn chin strap. Dont get me wrong this helmet is nice but i want the real deal. most guys from ww2 are dead and there helmet if they kept them have since gone to other places.
o well the search continues

If I don't go as Tigerforce Outback I was thinking of doing a custom Action Force SAS styled Outback instead could make a black and yellow version of his original shirt and Have the 's' as the SAS survival dagger symbol I think it would look pretty cool!
Dude, if you can't find the Outback shirt on ebay, post an orange t shirt that's the right size to me and I'll paint it up for ya with me fabric paints!

Due to popular demand I'll be attending as Shipwreck again or punching myself in the face depending on which popular demand I listen to.
