Toy Fair Haul
Re: Toy Fair Haul
I like the plush Wicket - I've got Latara, Mookiee and Leeni. The Britain's Terror Raiders are great, never heard of them before.
On touching the trig point, I found my thrill
To the east Brokeback Mountain, to the west, Benny Hill
I'll give you the grid ref, you might like to go

Re: Toy Fair Haul
Wicket's a Christmas present for mum, she's often remarked how she liked the old plush Ewoks...I think she'd of gotten me one as a kid, back in the day, but they were a bit too 'girly' for a prepubescent lad.AnnieM wrote:I like the plush Wicket - I've got Latara, Mookiee and Leeni. I forgot to mention these Terror Raiders are fully poseable, just like an ordinary action figure, with separate (interchangeable) weapons & the stands are removable (just like the rest of the Star Guards stuff).
From the small amount of info I can find online, it sounds as if Britains poured a lot of thier creative resources & investment into thier Space line sadly it was a gamble that didn't pay off.

:shock:Eddie, are you feeling O.K.?gung-hoeddie wrote:nice haul, Ed. i did see some loose action forcers yesterday but i honestly couldn't be arsed to buy them.
Sadly no

I have to be careful I don't come home with a dog, or other animal, every time I visit the Huntingdon toy fair as it's held in the Woodgreen animal shelter's events hall...it's really heartbreaking walking around there seeing all the abandoned/rescued pets & reading thier histories, still it's good to know by paying your entrance fee you're helping in a small way financially.

Re: Toy Fair Haul
Never let the dog in the door T'Shot. Never. That means, of course, don't let yourself in the door to where they are either, which means don't bloody walk through that door, keep it shut and locked from the inside before you walk through it, simples.Thundershot wrote:I have to be careful I don't come home with a dog, or other animal, every time I visit the Huntingdon toy fair as it's held in the Woodgreen animal shelter's events hall...it's really heartbreaking walking around there seeing all the abandoned/rescued pets & reading thier histories, still it's good to know by paying your entrance fee you're helping in a small way financially.

PS. Good haul.

Hi all,
Rummaging in a box full of beaten up old die-cast cars, on the market @ lunch time, & discovered this little beauty:

It certainly brightened up the, otherwise dull, day for me

Excellent find. I'm still hoping one day to find a loose Mercedes with the cement splattered on the windscreen that came in the same Spy Who Loved Me gift set.

Cheers
I'll have to go back tomorrow & take another look for those
I don't know too much about the set, are they particularly rare?
The Lotus seems to turn up in every box of junk cars I sort though.
