Quite agree about Dalton. The first I saw at the cinema in 1987. He looked a lot like the Bond portrayed on the early Pan book covers. It's a real shame his Bond career was halted by the legal wrangles over ownership of the rights to Bond, leading the the 6 year break and EON allowing Dalton to get out of his Bond contract to pursue other work.

I saw it on Saturday and I loved it! I didn't think the theme was that bad, and I don't usually like Adele's songs.

because of a few social issues and a distinct lack of concentration all i heard adele sing was something about apple crumble.

Or as Mr. Dalton would have put it:

"Glad you turned oop, things were gettin' nast-eh"

Saw this finally on Thursday night, and absolutely lived it! My favourite since GoldenEye (yes Chopper, for me it was better than TWINE!). I find myself wanting to go see it again! Maybe it's just my mindset at the moment, but I loved the back to basics, uncluttered route it took toward the end.

Saw it yesterday & loved every moment...visually stunning.
I still think Craig walks like a gorilla in a suit, but thats probably the whole point.

"visually stunning" is a great description T Shot! I know it sounds stupid, but I wanted you to like it! Maybe it's your Sideshow Bond figures, but it's like you're my Bond yardstick!
I loved the actual Skyfall (I'm not spoiling it for folks by saying that I hope!) visually so beautiful, and such an "un-Bondesq place to end the film, but begin again.
