Superb T'shot.

Sheer brilliance, Ed.
You just need some outdated programmes for sale at the front desk.

Re: The Thundershot Historical A.F Vehicle Collection
Hi Mark,
This one came via ebay, but is exactly the same as the one I had as a child which I remember my father buying from a local, independently run supermarket type store.
It's a fantastic toy that works very much like the
tank, a switch on the back that makes it go either forwards or reverse whilst the turret sweeps from side to side...although slow, the motor had incredible torque & would easily power itself over obstacles (& Corgi toy cars) I put in its path
There's also a large missile which slides onto the main gun, which is spring loaded, as you push the rocket the the gun barrel retracts (imagine it as recoil) locking into position.Press the round button (on the searchlight box bit) & 'BANG' the rocket flies off in the 'baddies' direction!

New Tie for Christmas

A modern (c 1995) replica of the famous movie vehicle the Imperial Tie fighter, which many consider to be the Messerschmitt BF-109 of science fiction, featured in all three of the original Star Wars movie trilogy & can now be seen on display alongside the infamous
Roboskull.

Re: The Thundershot Historical A.F Vehicle Collection
Yeah, same here.
As a rule I don't generally go in for this more modern stuff but, action figure wise, this is the first ever Tie Fighter I've ever had....for some reason or other I never had any versions of the Tie back in the day.
Even if the lack of the electronics & raising chair (which the 1995 pilot has trouble sitting in) are a retrograde step the wing panel detailing really adds something
Yer know, & I've no idea why, but I'm starting to get all nostalgic for those 1995 Star Wars toys.

I was married the year after that, doesn't seem right. 1995 wasn't that long ago.
