Dan at Joe Intel has asked me which countries had which language cards released.
http://www.joeintel.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1486
Sadly I don't think it's as simple as "French cards are from France..." I can remember seeing foreign language cards in the shops as a kid, certainly many of the pics submitted for the archives are Eruopean, but to my kowledge the most majority were submitted by UK collectors.
I've linked the Joe Intel thread back to this one, but it'll pribably be worth keeping track of both!
Help wanted with foreign language cards
Re: Help wanted with forum language cards

Re: Help wanted with forum language cards
Thanks for your help Baron! I will appreciate any help I can get as I want to get the archives complete and as accurate as possible.
SnakeWolf--did you try to register for Joe Intel and there was an issue? If so let me know and I will try to get it fixed. I have had all kinds of trouble with the forums but the archive is just about fixed now.

Re: Help wanted with forum language cards
If it is true these figures were not distributed solely with regards to the languages on the cards/stickers I am going to create a "Europe" category for my site but now I will need to know which countries to group in that category. How many countries am I looking at is the next question? UK, Ireland (?), France, Spain, Germany, and which others? Once again I apologize for my ignorance and any help is greatly appreciated!

Are you just interested in the Euro' language items?
I seem to recall an awful lot of Chinese packaged Joe toys being available in the U.K. around the late 80's early 90's.
