Anyway, cast a few as an experiment last night - colour isn't spot on, but it's not far off. One has not cast right at the handle, but it has enough for someone to hold on to. Not perfect, but will fill a gap (or a hand) until a proper one comes along? (I'll pop them in with your other stuff TKW). Real one is at the very bottom for comparison:-



If anyone else wants one, or any other repro Shad bazookas drop me a line?

Thats brilliant - thanks Steve. Dont suppose the Dolphin / Steeler helmets are on your to do list? After the million and one things everyone else has suggested??

There is a grey one in the Joe accs pack #3 but think its a much darker grey...

I was looking at it as I did these last night, but helmets are a bit of a nightmare to do as my method of doing stuff it struggles to cast hollow stuff, so it would need quite a bit of dremmelling out , which is pretty time consuming.

I could do them, but have avoided doing helmets so far as I'd have to charge about £4 each for them to cover the time involved.

Although, I guess as I have the mould there for the bazookas I could do Dolphin/Moondancer accessories kits that might be of interest to people? They'd not be spot on, but shouldn't be too shabby. First job is to mix a pot of dye to get the right colour match for the grey, as these ones were a bit of a "more white, no too much, more black, balls - too much has come out, more white again..." to the extent that there was more dye in there than plastic!

I'll put it on the list! (which is going to take me a good few years to complete at this rate!)
