Agree. Done in 2003.

Here's the famous photo of her driving away after me giving here a typical Dutch treat. Photo was taken in Paris. She did not want to come all the way to Amsterdam. The cheeky little c*nt!

a) your'e lucky, it can take ages to complete a toy 'cause of all the small bits that go missing, unless..
b) except, if your'e in a hurry to complete a piece, e-Bays handy & easier but makes it very expensive!
c) too many knock-offs & unofficial reproductions/copies of rare vintage stuff available online, it gets confusing.
d) it can take over your life

But don't let me put you off :-D
Can't be worse than Vintage Star Wars. There are stands full of Transformers at Memorabilia and they keep on calling me, I can't hold out for much longer. I only want the ones from 84 to mid 87, after that they're rubbish. Help me Obi Wan Kenobi you're my only hope.

That's what I thought..but you start picking things up from the later years, thinking "Oh, I used to like that guy in the comic.." or "Well it's very cheap & good condition, I could always swap it later.."

I picked up Utra Magnus last weekend for £8, thinking "He only needs a pair of fists to complete!",so now I'll spend a long time looking for 'em!

Big fists or little fists?

I have never forgiven myself for getting rid of my original transformers so the bug is there. I even had the STARS command centre as a kid. Oh what I fool I was.

I'm in need of both set really..but I'd be happy with just the large ones, so he looks like the way I remember him in the comics..he's started to grow me now, the cab looks "class" painted in white, better than the blue of the original Diaclone one, but I think that versions trailer looks better..

Luckly my folks have a large attic, & just put every thing in storage that wasn't broken from my childhood..thats 35 years & still counting ;-)

The toy Ultra Magnus isn't that great as the poseability is quite poor plus he's quite fragile. I love the diaclone stuff purely because you get multiples of what we consider main characters.

wow, that's proto-Magnus, proto-Wheeljack, a red proto-Tracks, prot-Mirage, proto-Prowl, proto-Sideswipe and possibly proto-Jazz in there...

(hope there was a 'toys don't really fly, weapons don't really fire' disclaimer )
