Goldeneye is still my fave too. I've got 3 N64's still hooked up and being a keen hunter I must confess to loving that sniper rifle. I never did beat that last level, I'm too crap. It was the one with Odd Job wasn't it?
lately I've taken to Star Wars Battlefront and occasionally Republic Commando. My son and I play splitscreen Battlefront on the Xbox together. We make a mean team, one covers, one captures. He's a clever little bugger for 6 years old. He was playing it before he could read
We conquered the Galaxy twice before tea yesterday. I collect consoles, there's 6 in the lounge, 4 in the kids play room and about another dozen in storage.

Re: anyone else play First-Person Shooters?
I f*cking loved Doom III and Prey. Far Cry was the game that turned me on to FPS, before that I was a strategy gamer; Total Annihilation was my first love, then AOE, Dungeon Siege, Spell Force and Dawn of War. I've been playing Oblivion on and off for over a year now which is bloody fantastic. I also like the odd bit of Tomb Raider and I really, really enjoyed all of the Lego games. Oh and the Myst series is incredible.
Assassin's Creed wasn't bad but very repetitive, good rooftop chases and knife fighting though! What else have I played? Severance, that was superb and I so wish they'd do a modern day release. Lost Planet I kind of liked but the non-sensical plot spoiled it for me. Rogue Trooper and Judge Dredd are both great but have dreadful endings.
I've just been so busy of late, Crysis and Supreme Commander have been sat on the shelf unplayed for bloody ages now. Fallout III looks tempting too, but I know it'll swallow me whole. Are Mass Effect, Dead Space and Gears of War worth playing?
I use my PC with an Xbox handset. My setup rocks.

Re: anyone else play First-Person Shooters?
the nearest to a FPS I have played is the Transformers Armada game (its dialogs even homage the 1986 movie at times).
I'm also a fan of the "classic character" games (Mario, Bomberman, Megaman, SF2, MK, etc) and those based on known characters (Avengers, Transformers, GI Joe, MOTU, etc). My favourite on that second idea are the LEGO ones (both LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Indiana Jones and LEGO Batman). I hope to see some day a LEGO Transformers, LEGO GI JOE and LEGO MOTU. Those would be really good games.

When I'm back at base at the mo' I play COD4 and Metal Gear Solid 4, tho' I guess MGS isn't an FPS per se
MGS4 may be too self-referential but is still a work of genius.
COD4 is pure FPS genius, a transcendant work of art that also took the ghillie suit global by mistake. At the same time it's all a bit of an
reunion.
"All British and American units must leave the territory of Russia immediately"
"One's north"
"Two's east"
"Three's in the western building"
"Bloody hell I'm hit ... urrgghh"
"I cannae move my leg ... you're gonnae hav tae carry me"
"The Geneva Conventions are all very nice in theory tovarich"
"A beer should be served ice cold"

Unreal Tournament and Quake games are good but for going round killing people Punisher is great I know it's not a first person shooter game
Spock, where the hell's the power you promised?
