Glad the discs have arrived safely! The first two seasons are a bit slow, but they lay essential groundwork. There are some cracking episodes in there though. Series 3 gets a shot in the arm (as this was the season after the end of Next Gen. after the launch of Voyager, so DS9 becomes the Trek flagship show), and series 4-7 are superb. I'm not going to post any spoilers, I will just say that I horribly underestimated Sisko - I thought his acting was wooden at first, until I realised he was really, really, really calm...
