Just saw it on Friday night and have to say it was amazing. Can't remember all the comic cos it is a while since i read it but the key lines i heard there were ones i remembered from the original. Not a chick flick. My girlfriend thought it was very violent and in truth have no idea how it got a 16s cert here.

Plan for week is read my complete watchmen i bought this year or better still root out the original comics.

couldnt have been better, the only thing they changed was the terrible ending (im not going to spoil anything her, so dont mention it!) the film ending was WAY better! this has to be the best comic book movie ever, i cant think of one other that even comes even close to doing this much justice!

i'm so blown away with the fact all i've ever heard of this flick is good and yet it has disappeared and is being considered a flop! i love the book and the movie. oh well at least this will keep hollywood out of watchmens panties and there will be no illegitimate children. i could see hollywood having dr.m bring Rorschach back to life. those dirty bastards.

No, No, No, Schell. Watchmen 2 will be about Dr. Manhattan traveling from the Future to grab Nite Owl II and Silk Spectre. Nite will say something along the lines of "Whats up Doc, whats so wrong in the future.What, Did we become assholes or something"? Manhattan will then respond something along the lines of "No Dan its your Children, something has to be done about your children". Then off the story will go. I'm pretty sure this was the secret ending of Watchmen, not some other movie.....

Apparently all of the comic footage has been shot, including the Black Freighter as a cartoon and a mockumentary of Under the Hood. They're planning a fully integrated "Ultimate Watchmen" release, which should clock in over 3 1/2 hours long.

Which I think is funny, because the shattering armbones bursting out of torn flesh didn't seem to bother them at all.
