Hello everybody..So Baron what happened? Did the S.A.S. cut your comm's in a surprise night raid or something..?
It's great to have you back online,it's surprising how much I've missed everybody the last few days..

It's all a bit techno-gobbledygook, suffice it to say that Streamline Tech Support have surpassed themselves in their usual uselessness. The net result is BFTB has shifted from a Windows server to a Linux server, which, touch wood, shoudl prevent a lot of the glitches we were experiencing on the board. It also means I have to rewrite the entire site, but that's something I was planning to do for the Iron Anniversary anyway.

My plan was to write the new site, upload it and then do a seamless transition at midnight on the 23rd of Feb, but so much for that idea. Unfortunately we're going to have to rough it for a couple of weeks while I get the new site together. Sorry, I promise it'll be worth it!

Once again, hats off and blessings upon Imbie, who took the reins and salvaged the forum from the Streamline Abyss. He doesn't post much, but he's a full-time lurker, as evidenced by his "Did you bugger up the site again?" e-mail not two minutes after it went offline!
