You missed off "at the end of the day" the most useful football cliche that fits everywhere!SteveD wrote:Good work fella! Perfectly legit in my books - offer, acceptance, everyones happy. Other than those who were bidding, but you snooze, you lose! (can I fit any more cliches into the posts today?)

Re: Ebay Auctions
I had an offer recently to end the auction early, I was more than happy with the price but I know I've been hacked off at finding an item I was bidding on ended this way.
I had to decline and auction finnished a wopping 50p higher than his offer.
To touch on the whole boxed thing I think it's fair enough to list an item as MIB if it's been opened, it would be MISB otherwise. If your going to bid without checking details etc your asking for trouble.
As listing infringements go I think there are far worse, some unintentional. My biggest peeve is being told something is rare or hard to find, I'll determine that for myself ta very much.
The funniest thing about some listings that you still see is when the seller makes the threat of leaving negative feedback for non payment or whatever, I've been tempted to ask a few, exactly how do you plan on doing that?
