Taking into account inflation etc how does a price of say 17.95 correlate to a similar price now

Any ideas how much milk cost in the 1980s just to compare it to now and start a comparison

Wholesale prices.

This is what Palitoy sold to toyshops at.

I'll break this down year by year otherwise it gets difficult to make sense of.

No mixed cases.
Sold either as 24 or 48 in a case.
£0.92 - £1.04 per figure depending on time of the year.

Vehicle Prices 1983 (number in brackets indicates how many in a case):

Para Attack (12) £2.59 each.

Boat Patrol (12) £2.59 each.

Attack Cannon (18) £2.87 each.

Rapid Fire Motercycle (12) £3.16 each.

OK had a look and average price of milk (retail) for a litre (1.7 pints i think for all imperialists) in 1980

In UK 30p (sterling)

In Ireland 13p (punt) - approximately 16cent (based on 80p=1euro)

So start comparing in terms of how much with inflation you would expect to pay for MOC / MIB toys

If it's a pain, I'd be happy with scans / photocopies of the original booklet.

Thank you, Dave.
