Re: BFTB13
I used to get BAF delivered every week. I'd started reading Battle Action and kept going when Action Force appeared and continued well in to the Storm Force days. I'm slowly building up my collection of back issues. Johnny Red was always a favourite but Charley's War was easily the highlight until Action Force joined the comic (often in full colour!).

I feel for Roger. So I'd bet everyone had awesome memories of AF and Battle.
Funny how that works out, eh Jim? Sounds like your Dad was pretty cool.
I lived out of town so AF and VAM were my escape, battles in the backyard kept me entertained for hours. A few mates had VAM, not so much Joes. It was an awesome escape reading BAF on a rainy day imagining taking on the Baron.
BTW, any chance you could do Invasion 1984? I liked that one too.

Let me tell you, Gunner La-De-Dah Graham, the British Army can fight anything! Intimate or not!

I can't wait to read the Storm Force archive to me it was as good as Action Force and was a big part of my later teens - early twenties

I'm really looking forward to this, I've scanned up until the 7th of March 1987 issue, so plan to release each comic every week on the 19th anniversary.
All being well it will all coincide for a nice 20th anniversary retrospective next year!

I think the comics are quite good. They really do feel like a well done toy tie-in. I just wished they would have reversed his bionic arm/s, so we could use BAT arms for him.
