Not sure the figures listed as 1st release are that though as prior to the Vectis auctions I saw no record of these before on eBay or here. That's not to say they're not but my theory on these are that they are the same production as the black promo Aug/July but unlabelled, first production either given or sold to the employees and that they didn't hit the shops like this. I'm still with Steve that the first release had the black promo sticker on.

Yeh this is my favourite thread love learning about the card variation order and my prototype card made just about made my collecting life.the image I last sent Olly was merely to show you the side the commander is on another quick note it is the first and only cardback to not have the text under the yellow figure description.

I've created a monster!!!

Great to see lots of these variants tagged and shown though. Some really interesting stuff being brought to light. Including a lovely black gloves Baron!!! That was the Bain of my collecting life for years!!!

On your Matrix, which btw has been a massive help to my collecting, you are missing a column for the July/August promo as a straight printed white star version. Happy to mail my filled in version back so you can see which figures I believe weren't produced on certain card backs.. For example Kraken, Space Engineer and Z Medic are only on 2 different cards.

I've been working away on the Matrices in between being a full time dad and moving house.
I had corrected the omission, and my so far unpublished corrected version does have that column, but I would love to see your filled out version. I have only been working from photographs, not the real things, so your information trumps mine!
