Ukrainian drone found another Russian base outside Luhansk near Oleksandrivsk





Russians trying to take down a Ukrainian drone at some point in last days. Interesting in so far as the altitude ordnance is heading for should be ideal hunting ground for several SAM systems the Russians have in place.

Mission is just about go, Putin called the NSC today to discuss 'provocations' in Donbass and artillery assault on OSCE observers (chucked out of vehicles within occupied territory, four OSCE vehicles in central Donetsk set on fire Saturday night, obviously no UA arty involved in any of that).

Might be a bumpy few days, perhaps Russian ground assault will coincide with first anniversary of the disaster of Ilovaisk when Ukrainian units got hammered after overrunning most positions east of Donetsk as the GRU and proxies collapsed after first wave of Russian para support units couldn't handle Ukrainian light armour formations.

Although the Russians put some air assets over the Baltic over the weekend will need to see more boomers deploying to confirm a major assault is finally imminent.
