How about instead of Bird Force, The Action Force Air Arm. Had an idea or two for some customs for some of the ground personnel. The AF Heicopter pilot would be the pilot version of the "Force". Will give the figures a go tomorrow.
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

If it is Special Air Service, then it refers to the method of deployment in to the conflict zone - by air i.e. parachute drops (HALO or HAHO). And these guys would be dropped by an "Air Arm". Action Force Air Force sounded a bit naf!
