ive just sent ebay a nice message

you new seller fees totaly stink!!!
if i list something for 99p you will charge me 40p!!plus a final value fee of 10P!!
so if its sells for 99p you will will take over half, plus a paypal fee of 25p!!
i am seriosly considering closing my account like many other people i have talked to
you are obviously trying to eliminate the casual seller and only care about power sellers
you are just another big greedy company taking advantage of a monopoy
you are only the market leader because there is no rival site
please dont reply to this unless its to tell me you are reducing your fees
thanks for reading

Just while we are on a whinge about Feebay, is it just me or is it running reeeeeeeeally slow.
The`ve added so many search options it takes too long to just browse.
Or I may just have a slow connection?

You tell 'em, Zakkfan! We got your back.

Does anyone remember how thoroughly unhelpful they were when Greendeezel was selling a hyperlink to BFTB under the guise of paper comics? They refused to intervene as I was not the original copyright holder.

Well, we have another cheeky twat, this time selling the Zoidstar scans:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... %26ps%3D42

He's sold dozens. Am I right in thinking that I can now (under ebay's new feedback system), bid, not pay and immediately leave him negative feedback?

isnt there some clause for non-paying bidders, and you would probably get your ebay/paypal account suspended in the long run

this was the reply to the message i sent them
sorry for hyjacking your thred tintin

Hello,

Thank you for writing to eBay Customer Support regarding your comments
about the recent changes in the eBay pricing structure. I appreciate the
opportunity to assist you with this matter.

Please understand that the backbone of these changes are aimed at
improving the number of listed items in eBay. Buyers will have more
choices on items they wish to buy, sellers have a promising market when
they decide to sell on the site. With these changes, we encourage
members to list more items by lowering the insertion fees.

I understand your predicament regarding small sellers being run down by
big businesses that can afford these changes, however, please take into
consideration that small sellers will now have an opportunity to
increase their market range because buyers will be enticed to shop on
the site. They will now be able to compete with big businesses because
the insertion fees will be reduced drastically; therefore encouraging
them to list more items like major businesses.

Media listing prices will be lowered and multi quantity listings single
priced listing will be introduced. Thus, I would like to assure you that
the majority of these changes will benefit members in the long run.

I trust that this information has been useful to you. If you have any
further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us again.

Kind regards,

Justine Adams
eBay Customer Support

Wankers. "small sellers will now have an opportunity to increase their market range" like they didn't offer that before.
