Ebay - now officially more annoying than ever!

Just when I thought I couldn't get any more annoyed with Ebay they seem to have exceeded my wildest expectations of annoyance. Why is it that now, when you search for Action Force, it automatically assumes that you also mean GI Joe and brings in everything Joe related too? Even if it has no mention of the word Action Force in the listings? It's really getting my goat, and if it's designed to increase sales its having the reverse effect with me - I can barely be arsed with it anymore.

Note to Ebay - when I search for Action Force I would actually like to see Action Force stuff! Not every 3 3/4 inch figure ever, and I certainly can't be arsed scrolling through 950+ entires that you think I might be interested in!

Spooky. My buddy, Arctic Assault, made EXACTLY the same complaint when he went on ebay this lunchtime... We don't get all that long for lunch, and he simply didn't have time to trawl through it all to find the Action Force goodies he's after.

There is an opt out button at the bottom of the screen it lets you go back to the old search screen.

There is for now but it will be only for so long as ebay are in the prosses of getting rid of the old search full stop, So within the next few weeks we will all have to use the ballsed up search. Bloomin annoying! ebay making things "ahem" better! yeah right!

I actually search for both AF and Joe, but I don't want to search both at the same time when I'm after something in particular and what's all this other crap that's in this search? He-Man? Did I ask for fracking He-Man?

No I don't like the new e-bay. It's s**t.

I have opted out of the new search 3 times but ebay keep "opting" me back in !!!!

the new system is total crap and it makes searching for stuff hard work.

my question is why? why change something that dosnt need changing ?

the search engine was fine the way it was.. if its not broke dont fix it !!!!

The best way I find is to use the category search:

But then, I always browse GI Joe too for bad listings and potential customs.
