Shall I sell?

Post by DRW »

Just discovered this site while looking for somewhere to sell a big collection of Action Man stuff. Didn't find a suitable site, but I'm impressed with Action Force Online.

The thing is, I never realised they were collectible. I've got a fair-sized collection in my parents' attic.

So is it worth my while digging them out and offering them to collectors? As far as I remember I had the complete first series, and quite a few of the second, including many vehicles and the cardboard base thingy.

Would they be of interest? I doubt many boxes survived, so... :?:

Hell yeah dig em out, put a list on here, you're bound to have something at least 1 of us wants.
There are really only two possibilities: Either there is life in the universe more intelligent than us, or we are the most intelligent form of life in the universe. Either way, it's a pretty worrying thought!

Okay, consider it done. I'll see if I can go round at the weekend, digital camera in hand.

Is lack of boxes a problem? Is it worth digging out the vehicles? Had a couple of Jeep-type-things (my favourite was SAS), some kind of snowmobile and others. Will anyone want the carboard base?

:D
Cheers,

D

I expect so! You've definitely come to the right place, so I'd just stick up a listing and see what kind of offers you get.

The other option is to keep 'em and get all of the missing ones!!!

Oh, I can't keep them. I have too many other toys that need too much petrol and garage space.

How do I post pics on here? I have no web space of my own.

Anyhow, I've dug them out, and here's a brief list of some of the stuff. Unless stated otherwise, it's not boxed. I think I still have the cards from the figures somewhere, but couldn't find them today.
- HQ (cardboard. Slight wear on one edge)
- Q Force Sea Lion + Commander. In box
- Q Force Stingray + Shark
- Q Force Sea Skimmer
- Q Force Swordfish
- Q Force Deep Sea Defender
- Kraken x 2
- AF3
- AF7
- AF9 Snowmobile
- US Para and 'chute
- Shadowtrak
- Baron Ironblood
- Black Major
- Muton
- Red Shadow x 2
- SAS Panther and Stalker
- Q Force Lance
- British Commando
- German Storm Trooper
- Deep Sea Diver
- Desert Rat
- British Para
- Royal Marine
- Frogman
- Commander
- Ground Assault
- Arctic (?) Assault
- Mission(ary) Pilot
- Helicopter Pilot
- Night Attack Pilot
- Naval Assault
- Aussie Jungle bloke
- Z Force Captain
- Z Force Commander
- Z Force Infantryman
- Z Force radio bloke
- Z Force Sapper
- Space Patroller
- SAS Commando
- SAS Pilot
- SAS Squad Leader
- SAS Attack Trooper

And some other stuff. But my girlfriend is now demanding I help her with dinner, so I'll come back to it later.

I have loads of weapons, but don't know which chap owns which gun.

If you want to make an offer for any, feel free. I will email digi pics if you like.

Hope something here can add to someone's collection.
