Sticker sheets

Post by blitzwingz »

I was wandering: I know the cobra vehicles all shared the same big stickersheet, with stickers for all vehicles (ASP, CLAW, HISS, Swamp-skier, Stinger jeep, Water Moccasin and Escape armour)
Is this also the case with the Joe vehicles like the WHALE, Skystriker, SHARK etc.?

And I encountered another problem: These old stickersheets have a tendency to "not want to stick anymore". should I use somekind of glue for this? I also had this problem with the sheet-based stickers from the later series, and If I use glue on those I'm afraid it will show.

It's not one set of the same stickers for every vehicle, but a big stickersheet with all different stickers for all the vehicles. So if you bought an Cobra CLAW, and you've applied all the stickers for that particular vehicle, you still have (different) stickers for the other vehicles.
My computer crashed last week, so I can't make a scan for you, but I'm sure oher people of this list can provide one.

Does anyone have a nice scan of this sticker sheet? This has me a bit confused. If every AF Cobra vehicle came with the same sheet, did each vehicle actually make use of every sticker? It would seem to me that it might be hard to fit all of them onto the Escape Armor.....er....Armour, if they were the same ones that seem to cover the Hyena.

Does anyone have a nice scan of these sticker sheets?

'Fraid I don't have one, but do you remember the 'upgrade' stickers that came with Battle comic? For transforming Shadows into Cobras and the like? I remember there were a bunch that were bulletholes! They were cool, I'd love to scan those for the site, if anyone has any. I also have a large red Russian-writing-looking sticker (Shadow code) that may well have come from the comic which fits squarely under the jaw of my Roboskull.

The bullet holes were cool!

Roboskull I bought last year had all its original stickers, and 3 or 4 little bullet hole one! :points:

Sticker sheet

Post by steve »

Just received a nice mint + box triad today, in the box was a part used cobra sticker sheet!

This is very cool as I've got a cobra roboskull that is missing a lot of its stickers, and they all seem to be on the sheet still.

No, that's the exact same one I got with three differen't Action Force boxed vehicles. (ASP, CLAW and FANG)

I don't know if it also came withe the item you linked to, but I'm 100% sure about the boxed vehicles.

I don't suppose anyone can read/write french can they? Asking cos of this auction currently on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... tegory=349

A MIB Hyena & Red Jackal without the stickers applied, the thing still needs assembling. Just thought if we have a french literate amongst us, maybe they could contact the seller and ask them to do us a scan of the sticker sheet for the website? Just a thought.
There are really only two possibilities: Either there is life in the universe more intelligent than us, or we are the most intelligent form of life in the universe. Either way, it's a pretty worrying thought!
