Re: TV Adverts

There was an advert for the first series of figures, set in a small toy shop.

The owner, who I think isn't Bernard Cribbins but at the time reminded me of him, was serving a young lad at the counter, suggesting which figure he might like, with phrases like "How about a Desert Rat? ...Or maybe a ...

Re: Barry The Palitoy Expert.

Like Santa visits every home, Barry the Bullshitter, sometimes in disguise, turns up in every workplace.

Last time one of his doppelgangers turned up at work we gave him a bullshit detector and told him he had to press it everytime he spoke; he still didn't get it.

Re: red shadows atat walker

There was (might still be) a work-in-progress thread he had going for this and some of Dark Horse's other superb customs. The Walker and its complementary ShadowDrome were back-to-back Custom of the Month Winners:

August 2011: ShadowDrome
September 2011: Shadow Walker

Re: Deathray

Simple, excellent.

The stingray's form is probably far-out enough to work for the shads too.

Re: Swordfish question

Which begs the question: why did they never storm a beach with it in BAF?

A swordfish piling into some dunes, crew picking off shads left, right and centre - that would have made great front cover art.
