hi Jaye

he looks like the bottom picture but he has a tan cap with red cap band and black peak. there is no evidence of paint on the zipper either.

i'm gonna mail a pic to you and jonesy. cheers.

mail away commander varient

hello all,

need to pick your brains about something i picked up at a boot sale last sunday.

what i thought was a standard mail away AF commander doesn't match the others my collection. rather than the body with sweater and scarf he has the body of the helicopter pilot, but with none of the details ...

blackwolf is excellent. these are my favorite customs using the classic AF figs.

i have a new shadow custom using a joe body :shadow: to show you all, but i don't know how to put the pics on the site. Steve once posted some for me. is it still possible to do it.

your new site is excellent

as an aircraft modeller these sort of shots are a great help. they are very clear which is spot on for my needs.

the Trafalgar Day stuff is particularly good as are the choppers.

this is definatly on my bookmarks.................any chance of some interior ...

thanks for the reference, i havn't got that one in my paint box, so i'll get some asap.

the soft plastic figures benefit from a coat of diluted PVA glue(white school glue) or acrylic varnish. be careful of the moving parts. this then gives the enamel something to bite onto. i paint my airfix ...
