Rising Sun Comics began publishing and releasing the ongoing Argen 7 series in January 2011. The series has taken a hiatus for the Argen 7 World War III Interludes 5 issue mini-series.

The Argen 7 characters are officially tied to the original Marvel / DDP continuity by the appearance of Glenda in issue #38 of GI Joe - A Real American Hero. She later appears on the confirmed list of Red Shadow kills. Argen 7 Cobra agent Sei Tin plays a major part in GI Joe - Master and Apprentice II and then appears again in GI Joe - America's Elite.
