Another method used, is to remove the weapon, and do nothing to the rest of the artwork, making some of the figures look rather strange. A good example is the 1989 tall card Knockdown, where he has gone from have a weapon, to just saluting. And then there is the tall card 1990 Night Viper. Where he simply just made the Night Viper carry his backpack in his hands!
