Apparently intended as a way to head-off a rumoured re-launch of Star Wars toys, Star Brigade featured more bulky figures, this time encased in 'Armor Tech' suits with removable helmets. Vehicles in the sub-set included the Starfighter and Invader, repaints of the Stellar Stiletto and Pogo. A huge Armourbot featuring electronic lights and sound and a projecting-firing arm launcher was also released this year, bundled with General Hawk in his Tech suit.
