Martial arts fans were given six new figures branded as Ninja Force, consisting of Dice, Dojo, Nunchuk, Slice, Storm Shadow and T'jbang. These figures differed from traditional o-ring construction, in that they contained spring-loaded action functions in their torsos, similar in some respects to Mattel's Masters of the Universe and LJN's Thundercats figures, albeit at a smaller scale. This had the side-effect of making it very difficult to swap out a broken or loose o-ring, as the figures' chests were sealed.
