Fans of airborne operations had two different flying ranges to choose from; four Air Commandos featuring new characters Cloudburst, Night Vulture, Sky Creeper and Skymate were packaged with plastic gliders which could be thrown 'up to 40ft' with a figure in tow, and a pair of Battle Copters, one piloted by the evil Interrogator, and the Joe equivalent featuring Major Altitude. Altitude was a repaint of the ARAH figure Star Viper with a new head and helmet. The Copters were launched into the air via a zip cord which when pulled would spin the propeller blades and generate lift.
