Joe the Barbarian #1 (DC/Vertigo), only $1, released 1/20/10
The kid has a bunch of toys in his room, including some Joes/AF. Then he
has a strange vision and wakes up in a land where all his toys have
come to life. Writer is Scottish (Grant Morrison), so he refers to
them as The Action Elite. Looks to be a Storm Shadow in the background
of a double page splash also.

Ooh, who's the artist? I remember Ian Gibson sneaked a SAS Panther / VAMP into his Banzai Battalion strip.
