Also check out Star Trek New Voyages. AKA Phase 2. Features the likes of George Takai and Walter Koenig. Early stuff is pretty average, but the later stuff is brilliant.

:chopper:

PS, I think the same production company was involved in OGAM as well.

I think I'm right in saying I'm one of the few people in the UK to own Star Trek - Of Gods And Men on DVD.

When I've got a bit more time, I'll tell you all about it and how to get it. :mrgreen:

I downloaded the torrent a few weeks back, but the original one was part of a promo wasn't it SC? How'd you score that?

Yep, a promo. Russ was permitted by Star Trek owners Paramount Pictures to make the film on the understanding that no profit was made from it... So Renegade Studios cleverly gave away DVDs of it for free to anyone who bought something from their internet shop. The offer was "while stocks last". I got mine months ago with this method, but I'm not sure if they have any left. However, I do recommend the film to Trekkers, it was great to see Alan Ruck return as Captain Harriman, and this time in a role large enough for hime to sink his teeth into.

Here's Renegade Studio's website;

and here's the shop;

If you manage to get a copy, I hope you enjoy it. The picture of James Cawley in full Elvis Presley regalia in the Stills Gallery is worth the price alone!

The Baron wrote:What else has Kathy worked on, Space Commander? Her ebay store contains props from practically all of my favourite Sci-Fi shows. Would she be interested in making some Action Force patches for us? If so, she'd be more than welcome to have a slot in the forthcoming store for them and her other products.
Here's her bio'!

Kathy has many contacts in the industry which is why she has access to patterns from so many shows. For example, I was after a particular Babylon 5 patch that Kathy didn't have. Between the two of us emailing each other with our respective insights, plus Kathy chatting to a friend who had worked on the original patch seen in the show, we were able to reconstruct it. Bob's your uncle, I got me patch!

As for :AFLogo: Action Force patches... negotiations are commencing. Fingers-crossed!

Wow, she was on the BSG: Second coming short? I'd give my left ball to see that. Richard Hatch has it under lock and key. Return to the Batcave as well. Lucky lass.

Good luck with the patches SC, and pass on my thanks for her work.

I'll let her know, Chops :mrgreen:

Yeah, in my capacity as a total nerd, I imported a hardback copy of each of Richard Hatch's BSG novels into the UK as they were published. His first one came out in 1997, and in those days Amazon and such sites were in their infancy, so importing Richard's books was very difficult. The books hadn't even been given a licence in the UK! I really wish his vision had been given "the green light" for production. As successful as the remake of BSG was, names aside it had nothing to do with Battlestar Galactica. It's not something I could sit and watch with my young nephews as I'd previously done with Classic BSG, which I loved.

As for Return To The Batcave, one of the things I loved so much about that film was the perfection of the costumes. So accurate! It made me wish they'd revive the 1960s tv series. Surely it could be run as a totally seperate franchise from the 'realistic' Batman seen in the wonderful Chris Nolan films? Besides... DG is my favourite DC.

fat chance on reviving the old Bat-show. they wouldn't even allow a Bat-show that was what became Smallville about Bruce's early life.
