I think you should leave it in, that was the full name of the story and I think it adds to the Drama of the title as well. Also love the concept for the inside cover, inspired use of a card back!

I prefer the "Operation.." and "Codename..." prefix to be left on the stories. Makes them sound a lot cooler, and I reckon it will do the same for the book itself.

Nice! Early picture that one? Looks like a prototype of Space Patroller.
Not wishing to thread jack, but it sort of raises something I've been thinking about for a few weeks re Shadow heads. On this pic, they are clearly "clam heads" that we knwoa nd love, but on the BFTB welcome screen the Shad heads look very much like a helmet and mouth guard combo. I wonder if the BFTB welcome screen was a very early pic?
I've only noticed it as I'm currently working on my first ever customs (well, trying to) and I'm using some helmets that I am painting more like the welcome screen style rather than the "clam head" design we are now more used to. (method in my madness is that I didn't want to launch straight in with the Shadow heads I have when it is my first ever attempts, in case I basically wreck them, hence using the helmets.
