As promised here are some images of the Mk2 Space Force Base, so far the main hanger deck and lower deck is complete. There will be some kind of command deck, but Im still working out the best way to do that.

Main differences from the Mk1, the Mk2 is built within a bookshelf, and the wall panels are narrower as the original doors looked too wide. The Metallic flooring helps complete the effect.

Wow, my 100th post!

Cheers for the praise guys,

I was trying to make some free standing computer consoles, but they just didnt work out well , so I will probably resort to wall mounted computers and monitors .

Ive also got plans to add signage to the walls to add more visual interest .

The plan for the command deck (Ive built a test piece which works) is to have glazed panels on the back wall, with a scene visible through it .

Ive left this for a few weeks while Ive been trying to learn the basics of 3d CGI modelling, as I want to produce a CGI model of the Space Station from the mini comic and also the other space vehicles . Ive almost got that cracked though, so I should be back on this project in the next week or so. (Too much time playing with that package also explains the slight delay to the next update, should be up this weekend! )

Future planned additions also include the armoury, brig, medical bay and bunk room. More on those next year!
