Wow! I've never seen this before!

I do know that the German release Red Shadows had no logos as part of their pacifist approach toward Action Force, but the second wave was never released. Your Red Jackal could be a german prototype?

Not that I'm aware of. My site archives (http://www.bloodforthebaron.com/toys/german/index.html) were donated by http://www.toyarchive.de/att/af_germany.htm. I don't know of any other source for the german releases.

I have read the :enemy: logos tend to easily peel off, maybe that happened to :jackal: ?

Red Jackel was never released in a German version. German stuff only consists of wave 1.

Good question. I imagine it was a separate process with a universal template for all Shad figures. Just a guess though.

Another thought is he could have been an end-of-line production, midway between Shadow and Cobra era Palitoy.
