Oh how I laughed to see AF attacking Tastee Burger* in MAF. Running up stairs, Storm Shadow slices Gung Ho, hitherto unseen in the series, before escaping...
all to tie in with the UK-fied back up strip where Gung Ho is in hospital (in the US) and Roadblock escorts Storm Shadow to prison.
Although I will admit it made sense to me at the time when a kid!
*You might be seeing more of that!

Yeah, It's ironic that to make it fit with the US reprints, it just looks out of place if you try and fit it with the US series as a whole.

I did the Transformers tpb thing last year and most of it does work, although it's difficult to explain Bumblebee being blown apart by GI Joe and then Death's Head and being rebuilt as Goldbug. That VW should be more careful!!!

well, chronologically, he was blown apart by Death's Head first and then inexplicably became Bumblebee again only to get blown apart by GI Joe and be re-rebuilt as Goldbug.

You mean he was blown apart by Death's Head, not Wreck-Gar. Wreck-Gar was the one who repaired him. Something funny is that, in both cases, it's not a real evolution, but rather a "mistake" since the re-builders didn't know how to make Bumblebee exactly as before. _________________  "You were engineered with such potential, Serpentor. Besides Transformers vs GI Joe occured round US Transformers #25 (UK #107-108) that is when Bumblebee became Goldbug the Uk placed it a little bit later _________________ I AM A NINJA!"Red!
